White Wedding Styling – ‘Tis The Season!

One of the first things couples think about when they are designing their wedding is colour, and few consider an all white look – but it can be beautiful, romantic and stylish. Just like a bride’s wedding dress there are many shades of white that can be considered – from brilliant white, to ivory and champagne. A combination of all these shades can work perfectly.

An abundance of blousy white blooms look stunning at any time of year, but particularly so in winter. Set off with lots and lots of candlelight to bring warmth to your overall look.

All white works fantastically with marquee weddings where the background colour is usually white – add extra drapes of white chiffon and tulle to soften any hard edges, and consider large candelabra to further add that warmth through light rather than colour.

White satin and lace ribbons on chair backs again add detail and catch the eye.

All white cakes and dessert tables are the epitome of elegance – go for lots of extra detail in place of of colour.

White rose petals strewn down the aisle are effortlessly romantic, and the scent is heavenly.

Layer your table designs with white, from tablecloths to napkins – consider using lace to add texture and prevent the overall look becoming too stark.
