Wedding Styling With Vintage Glass
Now as you may know we love a bit of good quality vintage glass here at Lavender & Linen, but with so many options out there how do you choose the perfect pieces that truly reflects the wedding you’re trying to create?
Old medicine bottles in brilliant blues or golden browns in different sizes work beautifully as table centrepieces, or just dotted about your venue filled with single blooms.
Champagne saucers and cocktail glasses are the ultimate in sophisticated vintage elegance – perfect for reception drinks or for the toasts. Fill with champagne or Prosecco, or concoct your own signature wedding cocktail that fits your wedding theme and colour palette.
They also make fantastic unusual dessert dishes for sophisticated jellies or mousses.
Cut crystal decanters are also perfect for general décor, or for red wine and port. The ruby red colours work perfectly especially at Christmas and really add an opulent warmth to your tables.

Relaxed and Quirky
Make your own special chill-out area with a whisky or brandy bar complete with decanters and tumblers. Add personalised labels in your wedding stationery fonts to really bring everything together.
Summer Fete Fun
Vintage glass jugs and pitchers are perfect for lemonade, water or Pimms and really add a touch of 1950s fun.
Vintage glass dishes are perfect for sorbets and ice creams and look beautiful on your reception tables. Buy or hire them in different hues to give a summery pop of colour – why not self-serve from an ice cream sundae bar?!
