Today we are thrilled to feature a gorgeous country wedding. We love everything about this wedding – especially the beautiful country garden flowers, the cute gift bags, gorgeous confetti cones and the stunning wedding breakfast table!.
The gorgeous photos are by Kent based Yvette of Yvette Craig Photography. Yvette’s passion for photography began at an early age when she was given her first camera, and that love has continued to this day. She soon realised that a picture captured is not just an image but an emotional connection and story for all to see for eternity, and an important part of family heritage. Over to Yvette…
The wedding was between Suzanne and Ade, and took place at Appledore Church on the 5th July 2013 followed by a reception at Frasers of Cold Harbour.
Ade proposed to Suzanne on the weekend of the 16th February 2013 and they decided that as they already have two young children they did not want to have a long engagement, so they decided on a July wedding this year.
Being a fellow professional photographer, Suzanne wanted to make sure that it really was all about the detail, and spent the months from the proposal collecting glass jam jars, bottles, old vases etc so that she could have the room filled with flowers. They opted for an oblong table so that all the guests could be seated on one table and could also see what was happening. In addition to the flowers in the jam jars Suzanne also had candles and tea lights from the Seychelles range at the White Company. The place names were handmade by Suzanne and she also brought little bags with each child’s name on with a gift to keep them amused.
The colour scheme for the day was white and grey and both Ade and their son Jacob wore tailored suits. The older bridesmaid was in a grey short dress and the two smaller bridesmaids dresses were finished off with a grey ribbon.
