Hetty Rose Shoes & Shoe Making Hen Nights

We’ve been lucky enough to feature some fantastic suppliers this month, and today is no exception as we feature the fabulous Hetty Rose as part of our occassional Aspirational Hen series. Hetty enjoys re-using and re-working vintage materials in a creative and sustainable way, hand making gorgeous, unique and feminine shoes.

Whether you’re looking for a pair to match the fabric or colour theme of your wedding dress, or you just want something a bit different on your big day, Hetty will work alongside you to create your perfect pair of shoes and accessories. Hetty has a bespoke collection of styles which you can choose from to create your own special pair of shoes. Prices start from £400 and lead time is approximately 6-8 weeks.

Alternatively, have you ever dreamt of making your own pair of shoes – we think it’s a great idea for a hen party or a pre-wedding treat for you and your bridesmaids! Hetty has announced new dates where you can learn how to make the very popular ‘Mika’ kimono sling backs in your size and in your choice of vintage kimono fabric!

On Saturday 19th May and 7th July Hetty will be hosting workshops at the stunning Hylands House Stately home in Chelmsford, Essex. Please contact Hetty directly for information about these and future scheduled workshop dates. The cost is £195 per person, with all materials provided.
