Start Early

The key to the perfect hen do is to start planning ASAP. Quality, budget accommodation in popular locations can fill up fast, especially during the peak wedding season. It’s also best practice to give plenty of notice to your fellow hens; the earlier you set the date, the less chance a hen-in-waiting will already be booked up. It also allows hens to save up or spread the cost, rather than being obligated to pay up with just a month to go.

Location, Location, Location

There’s nothing more important for a hen weekend than getting all the bride-to-be’s favourite ladies together in one place, however choosing the location is pretty important too! It could potentially make or break the weekend.

Thankfully, there’s never been a bigger choice of fun, affordable locations available to hen party organisers. The UK’s packed with exciting towns and cities just waiting to be explored, from classic hen do destinations such as Blackpool and Bath, through to the relaxed shores of Newquay, and the beauty of the Norfolk Broads.

off-limits

Of course, while a stay in the UK can be every bit as good as a trip abroad, there’s nothing more exciting than boarding a plane with your best friends and heading to more ‘exotic’ lands.

Spain’s always a popular destination, with pleasant weather guaranteed almost year round. For shopping, culture, and fantastic nightlife, consider booking a hen do in Barcelona or Madrid. Beach bunnies might be more at home in Marbella, or for a bargain beach break, you can’t beat Benidorm.

off-limits

Hen organisers on a budget might also want to consider Eastern Europe. Pick Prague for it’s cheap beer and excellent nightlife, get blown away by the beauty of Budapest, or soak up the sun in Bulgaria’s buzzing beach town, the aptly named ‘Sunny Beach’.

Awesome Activities

The hen do should top the list of the bride-to-be’s best ever weekends, so a bottle of wine in the pub probably won’t cut it (though if it will, that’s fine with us too!)

Make this a weekend to remember by trying something completely new. Take part in a treasure hunt, try your hand at chocolate making, or compete in Off Limit’s very own ‘It’s a Knockout’: a hilarious mish-mash of team games and wacky races.

hi I am looking to organise a hen weekend for my best friend and approximately 8-10 hens.

We are looking for something very relaxed and chilled as we’re all 45+

I have had a look at your website and ‘benbow cottages’ and thing look very interesting but a little confusing for me.

We were thinking of arriving on Friday evening (10.06.16) and just chilling with somewhere that had a hot tub or near a beach then on the Saturday afternoon have a pamper session and possibly afternoon tea.

Leaving on the Sunday, any suggestion or help?

    Kind regards
