We write regularly on Aspirational Bride about the importance of investing in your wedding photography, and this is constantly reaffirmed by the gorgeous real weddings we showcase here!
Today we’re delighted to introduce a new photographer to Aspirational Bride, Simon Dewey.
Simon is a member of the highly respected Guild of Photographers, and is committed to capturing natural emotions in his unique style (drawing heavily on photojournalism/reportage and street photography) for all the couples whose weddings he photographs.
We’ve chosen a few of Simon’s images today which show his ability to capture those special moments which occur during the wedding day. Over to Simon…
Simon and Sarah’s Wedding Thrumpton Hall
Thrumpton is a hidden gem in the East Midlands. Behind the overwhelming Radcliffe on Soar power station and the current roadworks lies a sedate little village with a 14th century church and a gorgeous family-owned estate featuring acres of land and the hall itself.
Simon & Sarah were married at All Saints Church, followed by a reception at the beautiful Thrumpton Hall, which is a stones throw from the church. The reception included use of the house (where Sarah also prepared for the wedding) and gardens.
The day ended with Simon, Sarah and their guests heading to Thrumpton Hall’s permanent marquee to party into the night!
