New Season Make-Up Colours 2014
The new colours for next season’s make-up are burnt umber, deepest orange, dark plum…
Flushed red cheeks, lilac for eyes, deep plum and orange for lips, it’s winter with a buzz of anticipated spring colour.
You’ll need to be a bit brave to use them in their natural vivid hues but these colours look beautiful as a tint, a hint of colour across the eyelid and a smudge of deep crimson on the lip.
You will feel more confident when using these colours subtly and you will also know that your wedding photo’s won’t date when you look at them 5 years from now!
Wedding make-up for me is about keeping it classic and light – by all means follow the current trends, just not too much!
Eyeliner and mascara are kept natural (using waterproof products of course!) and the eyebrows are shaped so the brow colour looks softly defined.
Did you know.. Queen Elizabeth II commissioned her own lipstick shade to match her coronation robes at the 1952 ceremony. The soft red-blue was dubbed “The Balmoral Lipstick,” named after her Scottish country home….
