We write regularly on Aspirational Bride about the importance of investing in your wedding photography, and this is constantly reaffirmed by the gorgeous real weddings we showcase here!
Today we’re delighted to share a lovely Oxfordshire country wedding photographed by Judi Checketts. Judi is a member of the highly respected Guild of Photographers. She is a professional wedding and lifestyle photographer based near Oxford and the Cotswolds, creating documentary stories with an artistic eye and exemplary customer service.
Kat & Tom were married in July 2013 at Friar’s Court, Clanfield, Oxfordshire – a mid-17th Century country house set in 600 acres of countryside. Weddings at this venue are organised through Jeffrey of Silver Pear Weddings.
Their civil ceremony was held in open-air using the romantic setting of the Rose-Arbour, and their reception was held in the rustic, unconverted stone barn which is an open canvas for couples to decorate as they wish. Kat chose a pink and white theme with hanging lanterns and hearts.

We love the romantic setting of this wedding, a real English country garden!
