Candy Bar Buffet Ideas | Bottles and Scoops

Candy Bar Buffet Ideas (Bottles and Scoops!) –

Sweet or candy bar buffets at wedding receptions are becoming increasingly popular as guests pick and choose their favorite sweets. They also make a fun and colourful alternative to traditional wedding favours. Last week we looked at some general styling advice and ideas for Candy Bar Buffets. Following on from the success of this post we are taking some time today to look more specifcally at bottles and scoops!

Bottles:

Large, small, tall, short – the possibiities are limitless! Clear glass is useful as this allows you to show off the colours of your chosen sweets. You can use traditional sweet jars, as seen on retro/vintage candy bar buffets, glass or Kilner jars or any of vase! Cocktail glasses also look amazing! The secret is to vary the size and height of your chosen bottles, so as to add interest and make for an attractive and easily accessible display. Labels for your bottles and jars will also look great, especially if you use tags or paper and ribbon to match your colour theme.

Scoops:

Pick ‘n Mix scoops are fairly inexpensive and come in a range of colours, materials and styles. Alternatively you could use serving spoons or even small ladles!
